About The Playwright
Brandon Vaque studied theater at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga before training with the New York Acting Ensemble, where he made his professional debut as Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights. He relocated to Orlando, Florida, to perform at Walt Disney World—most notably portraying Aladdin, an experience that sparked his passion for bringing immersive, interactive stories to young audiences.
Together with his wife, Isabella, Brandon produced, directed, and performed in four seasons of classic children’s plays at the critically acclaimed New York Little People’s Theatre Company. During this period, he also wrote and directed an adaptation of The Princess and the Pea as well as an original work, Tinker Bell and the Adventure of Treasure Island. By night, Brandon starred as the detective in the comedic whodunit, Death By Lobster—an experience that ultimately inspired him to write, produce, and perform in his own sold-out mystery production, Twin Affairs: A Comedic Whodunnit.
Currently, Brandon is the Artistic Director of Our Little Theatre Company, where he is writing a new murder mystery inspired by the life and times of Clark Gable. He continues to be the resident lead actor for the NY Acting Ensemble.
Isabella Vaque is Brandon Vaque’s muse. Born into a family of professional artists, her gifted hands can craft nearly anything she imagines. On stage, she commands attention as the leading lady in her husband’s plays—roles she takes not just for the art, but to ensure no one else gets to kiss her man.
